Oland Home is a trading name of Oland Home Limited. Oland Home is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

1. Definitions

The following definitions are used in this Policy:

means any applicable laws relating to the processing, privacy, and use of Personal Data, including the Data Protection Act 1998, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and 2011 (SI 2426/2003) and all equivalent and corresponding national legislation, applicable laws and regulations relating to the processing of Personal Data and privacy, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office; and

Personal Data
means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (a “Data Subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person and where referred to in this policy includes the special categories of Personal Data as set out in Article 9 of the GDPR.

2. Information we collect from you

We will collect and process the following Personal Data about you:

Information you give to us. This is information about you that you give to us by corresponding with us by telephone, email or otherwise. From time to time, we may ask you to provide some or all of the following: details of your name, company name, address, telephone/facsimile number(s) and e-mail address. We may also ask for financial and credit card information.

Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our site we will automatically collect the following information:

  • Technical information, including the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type and version, address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any telephone number used to call our customer service number.

We may use ‘cookies’ while you access the Site to avoid the need to re-enter details on different occasions. 4. Use made of this information

Other than for the reasons set out above, we will not transfer or sell your Personal Data to any third parties without your prior consent.

8. Where we store your Personal Data

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

9. Retention of your Personal Data
